El Austin City Limits, uno de los festivales más importantes del mundo, y el segundo en importancia en la «ciudad de la música» como es Austin tras el SXSW, se celebrará por primera vez, el festival se realizará durante dos fines de semana continuos, del 4 a 6 y 11 a 13 de octubre, en Zilker Park de Austin, Texas, con un cartel realmente apabullante con Wilco, Dawes, The Cure, Vampire Weekend, Franz Ferdinand, Tame Impala, Kings of Leon, The National, Neko Case, Smith Westerns, The Black Angels, Jon Spencer Blues o Depeche Mode entre otros.
