U.K. Subs leyendas vivas de la primera oleada de grupos punk rock británico de los años setenta regresan a nuestros escenarios y aprovechamos la ocasión para formularles unas preguntas. Pioneros del street punk, activos durante cuarenta años con Charlie Harper liderando la formación no han dejado nunca de dar tralla y durante tres fechas están por nuestro país junto a otra leyenda del punk rock británico TV Smith el que fuese cantante de The Adverts el 11 de Febrero en Barcelona La 2 de Apolo , el 12 de Febrero en Madrid Wurlitzer Ballroom y el 13 en Vitoria Helldorado. Cuarenta años en la palestra del punk rock dan para mucho, nosotros nos sentimos satisfechos a que estos dinosaurios del punk rock respondieran a nuestro cuestionario.

8. Do you plan out new material soon?
Yes, last album will be out in April.

Sí, nuestro próximo disco estará fuera en abril próximo.
9. Nowadays prevailing philosophy punk or punk clothing?
If you mean philosophy or clothes , I say we need both, don’t buy nylon, you pollute the sea.

Si quieres decir filosofía o ropa, digo necesito ambas. Pero no compres nailon, contaminas el mar.
10. Is a punk questionable use credit cards and then shout down capitalism?
Now you are making rules, we don’t care if you have credit card but we do need the tour manager to have one. ( in punk rock, there are always emergency)

Ahora tu estás dictando normas, no nos importa si tienes una tarjeta de crédito, lo que si importa es tener un un jefe para tu gira, siempre hay alguna emergencia en el punk rock)
11. In your 71 years do you keep the punk philosophy in your everyday life?
If you ask 10 punks what their philosophy is, you get 10 different idea and 20 answers, like all humanity, there are people that want to fuck you over and others who will help you out.

Si preguntas a diez punkies cual es su filosofía, tendrás diez respuestas e ideas diferentes y 20 respuestas. Como toda la raza humana, habrá gente que querrá joderte y otros que querrán ayudarte.

DIY, fuck the boss man.

DIY (Do it yourself), hazlo tu mismo, que se joda tu jefe.
13. Punk came to Spain a little later, at the eighties. Do you know any Spanish punk rock band?
Only RIP. ( they are gone now)

Solamente a RIP, el grupo ya no existe.
14. Are you satisfied with the idea of getting back to the Spanish public?
Not satisfied, the word is excited.

No es satisfacer, la palabra es excitado.
15. What’s your opinion about the Spanish audience?
We don’t play for the public, we play for punks and rockers, the public like hip hop and techno.

No tocamos para el público, tocamos para puncarras y roqueros. Al público le gusta el hip hop y el techno.
