«Day of the Dead» disco tributo a Grateful Dead

«Day of the Dead» es el título de 3 volúmenes con 59 canciones en un disco tributo a Grateful Dead que se publica el 20 de mayo cuyas ventas serán destinadas a beneficio de Red Hot Organization para la ayuda de la cura del SIDA y que se refrendará con un concierto en el Eaux Claires Music Festival en Wisconsin, Estados Unidos.

En el disco participan grandísimos nombres como Bill Callahan, Jim James, The War on Drugs, Bonnie «Prince» Billy, The National, Stephen Malkmus, Wilco, Mumford and Sons, Kurt Vile, Sharon van Etten, The Flaming Lips, The Walkmen, Charles Bradley, Lee Ranaldo, Lucinda Williams o Bob Weir entre otros.

Aaron y Bryce Dessner  de The National son los impulsores de este proyecto con más de 60 artistas homenajean a Grateful Dead para recaudar fondos para la cura del VIH y otras enfermedades relacionadas. Más de seis horas de música conforman el vigésimo recopilatorio de Red Hot Organitzation “Day Of The Dead“ , una organización que lucha contra estas enfermedades a través de la música.
