Brujería, Destruction, Turisas, Rotting Christ, Viva Belgrado, The Raven Age, The Wild Lies, Soldier, Tierra Hostil, Abaixo Cu Sistema (System of a Down Tribute), Nice Boys (Guns N’ Roses tribute) y Black Horsemen (Metallica tribute) son los últimos nombres que completan el cartel del Resurrection Fest, que se celebrará este año del 7 al 9 de julio en Viveiro (Lugo).

Después de una edición 2015 con más de 52.000 asistentes y cabezas de cartel de la talla de Motorhead, Refused o Korn, entre muchos otros. Resurrection Fest por tercer año consecutivo vuelvió a estar nominado a mejor festival de tamaño medio (capacidad entre 10.000 y 39.999 asistentes) en los European Festival Awards, premios dirigidos a los mejores festivales de ámbito europeo en diferentes categorías.
La primera edición del Resurrection Fest fue de carácter gratuito, tuvo lugar el 20 de agosto de 2006 bajo el nombre de Viveiro Summer Fest.
