How Blue Can You Get: a compilation of Gary Moore’s previously unreleased material

Gary Moore and his thwarted talent have made a comeback. Most of us have never heard the legend’s music that is about to be released on April 30th in an album entitled How Blue Can You Get. The album features 8 songs – four of which are original tracks, while the other four are versions by Elmore James, Freddy King, Sonny Thompson, Memphis Slim and BB King. He sure has been missed in this oh-so-troubled world.

This new compilation of Gary Moore’s previously unreleased material is set to be released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the untimely falling, at only 58 years of age, of the Irish electric guitar hero and previous owner of the Les PaulGreeny”. Blues guitarist and former member of Whitesnake, Bernie Marsden, was among the many artists who paid tribute to Moore after the announcement of the release of the new album.
