«A beautiful time» es el 72º álbum de estudio en solitario de Willie Nelson, conpuesta por una colección de 14 pistas producido junto a su colaborador habitual Buddy Cannon lanzado el pasado mes de abril.
El lanzamiento coincidió con el 89 cumpleaños del músico. Con 5 composiciones nuevas de Willie Nelson/Buddy Cannon, nuevas canciones de Chris Stapleton y Rodney Crowell, como el primer single y pista de apertura I’ll love you till the day I die, y la participación de algunos de los mejores compositores de Nashville. Se incluyen versiones de Leonard Cohen («Tower of song») y The Beatles («With a little help from my friends»).
