Nos ha dejado a los 69 años Robbie Bachman este pasado 12 de enero, indestructible motor de esa auténtica máquina de RnR que fue Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Intenso pero siempre pensando en el mensaje común de la banda, Robbie dejó su indisoluble sello en magnas obras como «Not Fragile» o «Four Wheel Drive«.
Su hermano y compañero de banda, el icónico Randy Bachman ha sido el encargado de dar la triste noticia vía Twitter: “Another sad departure. The pounding beat behind BTO, my little brother Robbie has joined Mum, Dad and brother Gary on the other side. Maybe Jeff Beck needs a drummer! He was an integral cog in our rock ‘n’ roll machine and we rocked the world together.” Fare thee well Robbie…..
