Willie Nelson tiene 91 años recién cumplidos. Ha sido una leyenda viviente durante más de la mitad de su vida y continúa ganándose esa reputación aquí en su décima década de vida ahora anunciando nuevo disco «Last Leaf On The Tree« , su álbum número 152, que tiene una fecha de lanzamiento para el 1 de noviembre, tras su anterior trabajo «The Border» lanzado este mismo año en mayo.
Willie Nelson reinterpretará canciones compuestas por Keith Richards, Beck, Tom Waits, Flaming Lips, Neil Young, Warren Zevon, Sunny War, Nina Simone, el propio Nelson y otro tema de su hijo Micah Nelson, de gira ahora junto a los Crazy Horse de Neil Young quien también produjo el álbum.
Micah aparece en el disco de su padre bajo el nombre de Particle Kid, que también han aparecido juntos en LP familiares como Willie and the Boys de 2017 y The Willie Nelson Family de 2021 .
