Bob Johnston, legendario productor y compositor tejano falleció el 14 de agosto de 2015 a los 83 años de edad. Johnston trabajó para Columbia Records realizando infinidad de obras maestras de Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Flatt & Scruggs, Simon and Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen o The Byrds entre otros muchos.
Su últimas producciones independientes tras dejar Columbia fueron hace dos años para Friday’s Child, Eron Falbo, Natalie Pinkis y Friday’s Child.
