Richard Ashcroft covers John Lennon’s “Bring On The Lucie (FREDA PEEPLE)”

Richard Ashcroft has released “Bring On The Lucie (FREDA PEEPLE)”, a cover originally recorded by John Lennon as a protest song on his 1973 album Mind Games.

Ashcroft recorded the song at Abbey Road and Redtone Studios in East Palo Alto, California, after revealing his plans to release a new studio album that will be entirely acoustic. This song is Ashcroft’s first release since 2018 when he released his fifth solo album, Natural Rebel.
